For all other questions\/requests, please contact us by e-mail: info@camping-martinet.com, or telephone: 04 68 26 51 98 <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"reservation\">Reservation<\/h2>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How far are you from Carcassonne?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>The campsite is located 18km north of Carcassonne (Aude), 30km south of Mazamet (Tarn), 1 hour&#8217;s drive from Toulouse and the Mediterranean.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>When is Le Martinet Rouge open?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>In 2026, the campsite will welcome you from April 4 to October 4.<\/p>\n\n<p>The rest of the year, only the offices (telephone reception) remain open.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How can I book my stay?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Once you have chosen your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.camping-martinet.fr\/en\/accommodations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">rental <\/a>or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.camping-martinet.fr\/en\/pitches\/\">pitch at your Aude campsite<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>You can either :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Book online at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.camping-martinet.fr\/en\/\">www.camping-martinet.fr &#8211;<\/a> &#8220;book&#8221; button<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>You can then select your payment method: cheque, bank transfer, vacation vouchers or credit card. An option valid for 7 days will then be created. Upon receipt of payment, the reservation will be confirmed (only for reservations made more than 30 days before arrival).  <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>contact us by e-mail<a href=\"mailto:info@camping-martinet.com\">(info@camping-martinet.com)<\/a> or by telephone on 04 68 26 51 98 and we will make the reservation together. You will receive a rental contract and register your &#8220;option&#8221;, valid for 7 days only, which will be validated on receipt of payment (cheque, bank transfer, vacation vouchers). <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>NB: an option is valid for 7 days. After this time, we cannot guarantee rates and availability. <\/p>\n\n<p>The balance is due no later than one month before your arrival date.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>I anticipate my stay: arrival \/ access to the campsite<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p><strong>What are the off-season and in-season reception hours?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>In low season,<\/strong> reception is open:<br\/>&#8211; Monday to Sunday, 9:30am to 12:00pm and 4:00pm to 7:00pm<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>In season<\/strong> (July-August):<br\/>&#8211; reception open from 8.15am to 12pm and from 2pm to 8pm<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>I have booked a rental:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p><strong>What are the arrival and departure times?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>For your arrivals, we will be waiting for you between 4 and 8 p.m.<\/p>\n\n<p>When you leave, don&#8217;t forget to make an appointment with reception to check out between 8 and 10 am.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Should I bring my own linen?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>You can either bring your own bed linen, rent cloth sheets or buy disposable sheets. Bed linen must be reserved before your stay. <\/p>\n\n<p>Rentals are equipped with protective undersheets and pillowcases, which are disposable and changed for each stay.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Are televisions available in the rentals?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Almost all of them! The only accommodations without TV are the Sunroller 3-bedroom Comfort mobile homes. <\/p>\n\n<p>We&#8217;d like to remind you that the vacations are an opportunity to disconnect from screens, to better connect with each other \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Are mobile homes air-conditioned?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Since 2026, all our rentals have been air-conditioned, except for the maisonettes (g\u00eetes). What&#8217;s more, we&#8217;re fortunate to be located at an altitude of 400 meters in the Montagne Noire, which keeps us cool at night, although temperatures remain mild. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>I rented a pitch:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p><strong>What are the arrival and departure times?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>We look forward to welcoming you between 2 and 8 p.m.<\/p>\n\n<p>Pitches must be vacated between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Can I receive a map of the campsite and choose a pitch?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>A map of the campsite is available on our website. We don&#8217;t reserve specific pitches, but you can let us know your preferences (e.g. away from entertainment, close to sanitary facilities, completely shaded, &#8230;.). We&#8217;ll do our best to match you with a pitch that meets your criteria (subject to availability &#8211; no guarantees).  <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>What is the electrical capacity of the pitches?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>If you have opted for a pitch with electricity, you can connect to the terminal (with a European plug), which offers 6 Amps.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>What type of socket do I need for the electrical connections to the pitches?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>A European plug is required to connect to the electrical terminals. If you don&#8217;t have one, or if you&#8217;ve forgotten one, we sell them at the grocery store.<br\/>It&#8217;s advisable to bring at least 25m of extension cord to be able to plug in. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The pool<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p><strong>When does the pool open?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The pool is open from late May \/ early June depending on the weather.<\/p>\n\n<p>Opening hours: 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Are swimming shorts allowed in the pool?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Swimming shorts are strictly forbidden.<\/p>\n\n<p>If, however, you&#8217;ve forgotten your swimming trunks, don&#8217;t panic, men&#8217;s swimsuits (adults &amp; children) are on sale at the grocery store.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Other information:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p><strong>Are barbecues allowed on the campsite?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>No.<\/p>\n\n<p>As the site is located in a forested area at high risk of fire, NO FIRES ARE ALLOWED on site (no charcoal barbecues, candles, mosquito repellent sticks, etc.). The 6 Amp electrical capacity does not allow the use of electric barbecues or plancha grills. <\/p>\n\n<p>We invite you to opt for gas cooking.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Is there internet access on the campsite?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Yes, WIFI access is available at reception, in the bar, on the terrace and at the pool. It&#8217;s free but doesn&#8217;t cover the whole campsite. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>What are the closing times for the gate that gives access to the campsite?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>In high season, to ensure peace and quiet at night, the gates are closed from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am.<\/p>\n\n<p>A parking lot in front of the campsite allows you to park outside gate opening hours and walk to your pitch or rental accommodation.<\/p>\n\n<p>In the event of a life-threatening emergency, a bell located at the reception door allows you to contact a person on site to open the door for you. You can also call 04 68 26 51 98 <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Do I need a vehicle to stay at the campsite?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>A vehicle is highly recommended (if not essential \uf04a) to stay at the campsite, which is located in the countryside.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>I have a hybrid or electric vehicle. Can I recharge it at the campsite? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>No, the campsite does not currently have an electric recharging point, and it is strictly forbidden to recharge vehicles using the sockets on your pitch or in your rental accommodation.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Is it possible to buy bread and newspapers on the campsite?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>In high season, you can order bread and pastries for the next morning. We don&#8217;t sell newspapers <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br\/><strong>What should I do if I cancel my stay at the campsite?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>The first thing to do is to contact us and let us know as soon as possible.
